Angela Y. Cook
(Certified Creatively Fit Coach)
Hello! My name is Angie. I’m Paul the Physical Therapist’s wife and a Certified Creatively Fit Coach here at Cedar Hill Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. In 2009, I transitioned from being a Montessori middle school teacher to helping my husband, Paul the Physical Therapist, create the perfect environment for people to move better and feel better.
With a background in Biology and Psychology, an interest in Art and Design, and a 16-year career as an educator, I’m passionate about promoting the benefits of creative expression for healing and personal growth.
Through what I call “HEART & SOUL” workshops, clients enhance their well-being through creative expression where they may learn mindfulness strategies to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation, gain insight into pain triggers and new coping strategies for chronic pain, or foster greater self-awareness and self-expression.
In my spare time, I love to do anything creative- cook, paint, wood carve, dance, play the piano- and the list goes on and on.
Reach out if you want to talk about the workshops offered at our center.
P.S. Be sure to look for yummy anti-inflammatory recipes I post from time to time on our Wellness Blog!
