Did You Know You Can See a Physical Therapist Without a Referral

It may surprise you to learn that you can go directly to your physical therapist when dealing with pain or an injury. It doesn’t matter if you’re dealing with an old or new problem. In all 50 states, you can schedule a visit with our therapist to get help sooner than later.

In the medical community, Direct Access is the ability to see a physical therapist when you want to without getting permission from your physician or medical practitioner.

Physical therapists routinely assess and treat patients without a physician’s recommendation. You can call (336) 644-9661 directly at Cedar Hill Physical Therapy and Wellness, located in the Summerfield/northwest Greensboro area of North Carolina, and we’ll schedule your appointment today! Direct Access eliminates wasting your time for the appointment to see a doctor, then the delays in getting a referral to physical therapy and waiting for an appointment to see the therapist.

Patient Testimonials

I had a GREAT experience here.

Paul really tailors the PT to the individual and is patient in exploring various means to pain relief. I am forever grateful that I learned preemptive stretches and movements from Paul that address exactly what I need (and have brought me relief). I highly recommend Cedar Hill PT and will never go anywhere else! Thank you!

What a delightful feeling of restored freedom is in that movement!

You are an outstanding practitioner of the McKenzie philosophy and method; however, I think that your effectiveness goes far beyond training and technique. Because you and Angie are both such compassionate and caring people, you have created a very calm and healing environment that is immediately evident, and totally surrounds your patients. What a delightful feeling of restored freedom is in that movement!

FAQs

Can I continue with physical therapy even when my treatment plan ends?

A treatment plan is an evolving document. Once your initial goals are met, your treatment plan may be revised, a new treatment plan may be created to address a different issue, or a home exercise plan (HEP) may be created to aid you in continuing your exercise regimen at home.

We can also make arrangements to meet you at your gym to work with you on determining what equipment may be beneficial, and what exercises would be helpful in your continued recovery.

Can I find relief with physical therapy?

Sure you can! Everyone can benefit from physical therapy. By working with you, and in some cases with your doctor, we can discuss your options and help determine if physical therapy will be the right choice for you. Call us today to discuss your current condition or click here to request an appointment now.

Can I still receive treatments even if I don’t have insurance?

Absolutely! Because it’s important for all patients to have access to the care they need, we offer a discounted fee for cash pay. Payment is due at the time of service.

We are part of the Guilford Community Care Network that provides healthcare access for uninsured adults living in poverty. Please call Angie at 336-644-9661 for more information.
