CHPT Offers Telehealth in Response to COVID-19

As the situation with COVID-19 evolves, Cedar Hill Physical Therapy continues to place the utmost importance on the health and safety of both patients and staff. We have carefully considered the risks and benefits of seeing patients in the clinic. We have concluded that transmitting one case of the virus could far outweigh the benefits of in-person therapy. Because of this, we are transitioning all care to telehealth.

In anticipation of quarantine, we began seeing patients via telemedicine on Friday, March 20th and have added additional patients daily. We are happy to report the process has been a smooth one and we are ready to offer both current and new patients a virtual Physical Therapy experience with the following benefits:

  • HIPAA compliant telehealth option.
  • Video and audio connection from patient’s desktop, laptop, or smartphone.
  • Convenient and safe.
  • Consistency with no interruption in treatment plan.
  • One-on-one with a full hour allotted for appointment.
  • Convenient appointment times from 8am to 7pm, Monday through Saturday.
  • BCBS, UHC, Cigna, and Workers’ Compensation have updated their policies to allow for telehealth.
